Chitosan hydrochloride is the chloride salt of an unbranched binary heteropolysaccharide consisting of the two units N-acetyl-D-glucosamine and D-glucosamine, obtained by partial deacetylation of chitin normally leading to a degree of deacetylation of 70% to 95%. Chitin is extracted from the shells of shrimp and crab.

Functions and application of Chitosan Hydrochloride
Chitosan hydrochloride is directly soluble in water. It is a strong cationic chitosan derivative that promotes the absorption of nutrients or drugs by somatic cells. It can be applied to hydrophilic drugs and natural nutritional cosmetics. Such as absorption enhancers, medical dressings and carriers, food health care, cationic flocculants and the like.
1. Chitosan Hydrochloride is used to prepare wounds and burn dressings with excellent hemostasis effect.
2. Chitosan can be made into capsule health products, easy to eat, and easy to dissolve and absorb, give full play to the health care function of chitosan.
3. It can be used as an absorption enhancer for hydrophilic drugs and natural nutritious cosmetics.
4. Chitosan hydrochloride Maintain the quality of chitosan with good film forming and bacteriostatic properties. It can be used as an additive and preservative for food, fruits and vegetables.
5 It is with strong cationic properties, can be used for sewage treatment, food plant sedimentation and recovery. Papermaking can improve pulp utilization and paper strength.
